Soft Ambers

Here's a list of the products I used...

  • Shadows: MAC Shimmer Time (inner lid and tear duct), MAC TanFastic Pigment (lid), Miliani bronzer (crease), MAC Copper Glitter + MAC Mixing Medium (outter lid), MAC 217 brush (crease), MAC 252 Brush (lid)

  • Lashes: Maybelline Great Lash, EyeLuv.me Lashes

  • Brows: Anastasia of Beverly Hills Brow Palette, Anastasia A10 Brush

I made my brows a bit lighter by first covering them with concealer (since they're naturally dark), then filled them in with the Taupe powders, and carved them out with concealer.

This Brow Palette is a MUST for any makeup artist, it has all brow shades, plus a concealer and brow wax! Anastasia of Beverly Hills has the best brow products on the market, hands down!

Easy Smokey Eyes- Step by Step

This is an easy smokey eye that I always fall back on, it's flattering on all eye shapes! Here are the steps:

      1. After I apply my base, I always highlight the brow bone first(Base- MAC Bare Canvas, Shadow- MAC Mylar, Brush- Essence of Beauty "Conceal" brush).
      2. Next I take a warm brown shade and shade the upper crease. This is the transition shade between the crease and brow bone! (MAC Soft Brown shadow, Sigma E-40 blending brush).
      3. Fill in the lid using a metallic grey tone and blend it up into the inner crease. (Smashbox Beauty Palette- metallic grey shadow, MAC 217 brush).
      4. Blend a little bit of matte black shadow to on the outer corners of the lid. (MAC Carbon shadow, Sigma E-55 brush).
      5. Apply a brown liner to the bottom lash line and shade just underneath the lashes with the same shadow used on the lid. (Revlon Color Stay liner).
      6. Be sure to coat your lashes with mascara before applying false lashes! (Maybelline Great Lash).
      7. Apply those lashes guuuurl! (MAC #43 lashes)
      8. All done!

Achieve This Look in 8 Steps

      • 1. Brown Bone- After applying your base, add a matte white shadow to the brow bone using a flat brush. (For instructions on eyebrows, click here).
      • 2. Crease- Using any medium brown eyeshadow and a blending brush, add the shade into the crease. I used a shadow from www.krystlemakeup.com
      • 3. Lid- Use the same white shade that you used on your brow bone and apply it to the lid with the same flat brush from before.
      • 4. Top Liner- Apply your top liner, I like to add a slight wing! Keep the line sharp by using a liquid liner. Sharp sealed lines will create a clean look! NYC Liner (brush tip) is my favorite liner! If you have a difficult time with liquid liner, try using a felt tip- it writes like a pen!
      • 5. Bottom Liner- Define the lower lid by applying black liner to the water lid and smudge it downward using an angle brush.
      • 6. Lashes- After coating your lashes with mascara, apply some false lashes! Wearing false lashes is an easy way to vamp up your look!
      • 7. Shade with Blue- Using a shader brush, shade the lower lid with a blue shadow, starting at the lash line working your way down.

      • 8. Shade with Pink- Use the same brush and lightly apply the pink shade below the blue, overlapping the two colors slightly.

      Filter, Filter, Choose a Filter

You wouldn't believe the amount of time that I waste debating between which instagram filter to use! Above you see Valenica, Walden, then  Lo-Fi. I normally go with Valencia or Walden, they're the most flattering to faces because they have a high exposure and a warm temperature! Which one would you choose? Anyways, here are the products for this look:

      • Shadows: Coastal Scents 88 Color Palette (Magenta/Light Pink in the upper crease, Violet Purple in the crease, Black in the outer corner extended into the crease, and white on the lid and brow bone).
      • Liner: Motives Felt Tip liner (top), MAC Blacktrack (bottom)
      • Lashes: Maybelling Great lash, MAC #3 False Lashes
